About Laura.

A graduate of the London School of Beauty And Make-up, with a Fashion/Photographic
/Media Make-up Diploma, as well asa Diploma in Hairdressing. Laura Dexter now works
within the world of fashion and beauty as a professional make-up artist. Enthusiastic,
hard working, determined and highly motivated Laura always strives to achieve the best
in everything she does. Constantly looking to improve upon her existing skills, gain a wide
range of different experiences and broaden her knowledge of the industry, Laura makes
a concerted effort to undertake a variety of different projects, and as a result, has worked
with a number of influential photographers and models within her career to date.

As a freelance make-up artist, Laura works for professional photographic studio New ID on
an ongoing basis, alongside which, she pursues a variety of individual projects. Some of
Laura’s mostrecent projects include; working as make-up artist for Pierre Gaurroudi's 2008
Autumn/winter collection at London Fashion Week, Miss Top Model UK 2008, the Alexander
Longe Couture 2008 collection Fashion Show, Pierre Garroudi Spring/Summer 2009
collection and for the Alternative Hair show at the Royal Albert Hall. During March 2008, Laura
was contracted to work at the Professional Beauty Show at Excel, London, and over the last
year, has assistedon various feature films .

Her creativity and attention to detail are clearly visible within her shoots for magazines such as,
Conde Nast Travller, Identity, Square Mile, black card, and MTV, and her fresh outlook and
original ideas are demonstrated through additional shoots, weddings, and for other special
events and occasions. Further to this, Laura has also been working alongside celebrity
photographers Jason Fraser, and assisting various talents such as Michael Boadi, Bernadine
Bibiano, Sam Davis and Abigail Alexandre.
